My favorite SNL character would be David Spade’s ‘Church Lady.’ I know that dates me a bit, but the sketch comedy premise of the church lady is to make everyone aware that Satan is a spirit roaming the earth. She warns everyone of the truth that he in fact exists, but unfortunately, it comes off as a discredited characterization of the prototypical conservative Christian grandmother from your neighborhood church who nobody should pay any attention to whatsoever. Because Satan is too outlandish of a concept, right?

That’s the problem with the skit. It laughs Satan off. But I take him very seriously and I want others to as well. So you don’t get gamed. America did not get to where it is today on the backslide chart of progress on just plain old human error and incompetence. We have had much free and available assistance given to us along the way. Actually, that’s why I wrote the book. To say ‘no thank you‘ to the free and easy prizes offered by a carnal world ruled by the prince of the power of the air. Instead, I want to teach his schemes, tactics, and methods so you may better be able to expose the deeds of darkness. In order to do this, we have developed a 2-part teaching series based on our book, The Great American Backslide and Our Silent Partnership with Darkness – Living in Opposition to Evil’s Influence. Each session lasts about 30 minutes and contains 10 – 12 slides under the common theme of Why We Fight and Serve: The Unseen Battle of the Spiritual Warrior. Understanding and Exposing the god of Confusion – Topics in this lecture include: Who is the god of Confusion (goC) and what is he all about? What is Satan’s focus and what are his goals and objectives? What are the basic tactics that the goC uses to influence the world? Satan’s schemes and tools to attack people and systems, to destroy God’s eternal standards, and to create systemic corruption through moral failures.

Countering the Tactics of the god of Confusion – Considered as a follow-up to the Understanding and Exposing lecture above, the topics in this lecture include: making the God of the universe your Lord; understanding God’s sovereignty, authority, and his “Man Up! mandate; maintaining your focus during the sanctification process; keeping your eyes on the prize worth fighting for; and tapping into the power of the Holy Spirit; tips for renewing our minds to help deconflict a spiritually-confused world; and using scripture to define your ambassadorship for the kingdom.

When it comes to God, we really should keep it simple. Confusion never comes from God, but He can use any spirit in any manner He so chooses — even those spirits not normally associated with God, such as the god of Confusion (little g, Big C). That said, I believe if something very complex and nearly incomprehensible cannot be summarized into something completely understandable, maybe you are making the issue way more complex than it needs to be.
