40 Days of Truth

The following excerpts were pulled from our book The Great American Backslide and Our Silent Partnership with Darkness – Living in Opposition to Evil’s Influence. These quotes were also posted on Facebook at The Great American Backslide and on X @NcourageTruth. Over the first half of the 40-day period, the quotes are considered ‘easy truths.’ For the second half, quotes 21 – 40 would be examples of some ‘hard truths’ about being a Christ-follower in this fallen world. We can’t have the easy without the hard if we are to be salt, light, and love in a fallen world. The page number where each quote is found in the paperback release of the book is found at the bottom of each slide. 21 of 40 – July 24, 2024 – For the second set of 20 truths in this ’40 days of truth’ series, you will notice that we begin to shift our statements from the ‘easy truths’ to the ‘hard truths.’ It is time for all Christians to realize what it truly means to have a prince of the power of the air, a roaring lion prowling about seeking to devour, or the god of this age influencing the direction of this world. These statements are the ‘hard truths’ that comfortable Christians choose not to deal with. But we must recognize them and understand them.
